There a lot of website that jack cb layout and said it's their own. Those site are professional spammer. This is the reason why createblog.com didn't get it chance to shine. Who is good a promoting pro-spammer or cb? I said spammer. People would most likely to click on the spammer site to get layout then to click on cb.

I suggest that each layout submitted to cb require to put
1) the designer name
2) the createblog.com logo
in to the graphic design (banner, img div layer etc.)

This way they have to use photoshop to edit it out instead of just changing the code. Even if they change the link but the createblog.com logo still show.

^Just one thing going around posting their name and saying they are copying you isn't really helping the situation . To my knowledge only ONE of your layouts was jocked, and all they did was take the code. So it doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure you didn't make it 100% . Unless you wrote the scripting language. Which you didn't. Thats it doesn't mean they are copying you and it doesn't mean you invented the style. Because before you came along its been done before. So I really think you should take the mature route on this one and just keep their name out of it. Its not helping you look superior at alll at least in my opinion. Not to be rude to you or anything but you think posting their name is going to help. Once a jocker doesn't mean always a jocker. ermm.gif

Anyways back to the thread...
I don't think that all this is needed. A name like a username ok, problem is people go way to crazy and they make this huge thing that makes the layout horrribly ugly. None of whats stated should be required in my opinion. Its extra but it shouldn't be required. There are already a lot of sites out there that take createblog's layouts with our link back in the corner (well maybe not this because its new but I bet so) and width the code that says its from createblog so people would know anyways. Adding the logo shouldn't be manditory if you can fit it in somewhere then good. Mandatory no way.

The name ok thats one thing, but if people go crazy with it, like a lot of them do there goes there layout being accepted on the first try. None of this should be mandatory in my opinion. If you want too then thats great. But it really shouldn't be required.

Yes there are those sites but it happens and everyone gets used to it. No one really cares after a while. (Because they forget anyways) pinch.gif
