sigh., ... Options

so there's this guy I'm in love with.. he broke up with me about 3 months ago and he pretty much shut me out of his life.. but the other night I saw him for the first time since we broke up.. and things were like.. normal again, like when we were going out.. and before I left he kissed me. Then the next day he goes back to shutting me out of his life and pretending like the other night never happened. I asked my friend who was also there the other night if he said anything about me after I left. My friend told me he said that he still loves me but he's doing me a favor by not being with me because I "deserve better". blah.. I don't want better.. I just want him. and I've told him that many times. I just wish I could do something to get him back again.

any ideas of what I could possibly do? I would seriously do anything for this boy.

I always tell him exactly how I feel. He just says that I wont be happy in a few years from now with him. I asked him the other night online why he says that.. he just replied "I'll talk to you later". He didn't even sign off or anything. He just didnt want to talk to me I guess.

Is there anything other than talking to him and telling him how I feel that could work? because this approach really isnt working. He'll always think that I can do better than him.. even if I dont want better.

I'm making a collage for him.. with like old pictures of us and stuff. maybe that could work a little?
also I'm making a mix cd.. with songs we used to listen to and other songs that could possibly get to him.

the other night when I talked to him he said he still has this one picture of us on his wall. and he still has this ceramic container that I made for him a while ago.. with keys and hearts on it.. and inside a note that says "you have the key to my heart".
He must still care if he still has all these things that would remind him of me.
