First jobs Options

So, I just got a call from one of my friends and she got me a job, and the boss wants me to start working tomorrow.

But, I only kind-of applied for the job yesterday, and by kind-of I mean I told my friend to ask her boss if she needed to hire anyone, and now here I am expected to come into the office as soon as possible. I'm nervous, it'll be my first job and my first time and experience in a work place. I do know what to wear, but I'm a girl and we never know what to wear. How do I go about talking to the boss and my " co- workers " and doing my job and things like that ?

I haven't started working working (without training) yet so I feel you. But really I think you'll be fine. Some of my friends from training told me that its not as hard to make friends at the job. You're a pretty cool person so I doubt it will be that hard. Just be yourself and have fun is what they told me. So I have a feeling it will be fine. I'm nervous as heck still but hey I don't think either of our first days will turn out bad. :)

That's pretty much the secret. Also, uhm, if they start joking around with you, don't take anything they say seriously. Joke-wise. It took me forever when people were joking to figure out that they weren't. I felt so retarded.

Just relax and breathe. My first day was an 8 hour shift as a cashier during the christmas holidays. I almost died. Haha. But I survived. And so will you.
