So, I just got a call from one of my friends and she got me a job, and the boss wants me to start working tomorrow.
But, I only kind-of applied for the job yesterday, and by kind-of I mean I told my friend to ask her boss if she needed to hire anyone, and now here I am expected to come into the office as soon as possible. I'm nervous, it'll be my first job and my first time and experience in a work place. I do know what to wear, but I'm a girl and we never know what to wear. How do I go about talking to the boss and my " co- workers " and doing my job and things like that ? |

I wish I could get a job that easily...
I've applied at about 15 different places and haven't getten a single call. because no one wants to hire a 16 yr old with no employment history. as for your new job, just don't freak out too much, they'll tell you what all they expect and stuff like that. The key is to be calm and confident when starting any new job. |

I wish I could get a job that easily... no, they dont want to hire someone who isn't interested in the job. it's your responsibility to call them and show you're interested rather than taking the easy route and hoping they'll call you. trust me. call them to set up an interview and i bet half the places would hire you if you actually took that step.
