colorizing help? |

i think its colorizing.. anyway, an image like so...
 how do you get the green and blue colors into the image without losing other colors, such as their skin and the yellow? i tried just putting a gradient over it, but it loses all the colors and it doesnt look as good. anyone know? |

^ Do that, but also try to the layer modes "Lighten" and "Screen". Those'll do the trick.
