last night, when i was stretching, i discovered that i had a knot-like thing behind my right ear. it's not on the other side, so i told my mom. you can only feel it when i turn my neck, so that leads me to believe that it may be the bone. my grandma thought that it might be a lymphnode. my dad said that it was probably a knot. it is pretty tender and sore, especially when you touch it. i'm not sure what it is, or if i should worry about it. my mom will most likely be making me a doctor's appt. soon, though.

MedicineNet It's basically just a collection of fluids in your joints or your muscles, and possibly in other places. It's a lot like a calcium buildup, which could also be what this is. One of the sites said it could only be removed through surgery, but I've had three or four pop up every 5 years or so on my wrist, and they last for a few months and just go away. I hope you've gotten it checked out by now. |
