have you ever tried to patch up a relationship with the other sex or with a friend?
share. my "friend" and i used to be best friends. however, we hit a rough patch because our classes for junior year were the total opposite. we blamed each other and then came up with the solution: to try harder (to patch things up). yea, that didnt work. and basically, she's the one that's given up on us. so, basically..in the end, it didnt even matter how hard i was trying or how much effort i was trying to put into it. |

Well, once, my best friend of a long time and I got into a huge argument where we stopped talking to each other for a month or so. I ended up calling her again and telling her I was wrong, that I needed to apologize, and that I wanted to be friends again, etc. It was very easy, though, because she said that she missed me, too. ^_^ So, basically, we had a silly fight, and ever since, we haven't fought :D
Apologies can sometimes be good. Yeah, my best friend and I have almost NO classes together, but we still keep in touch about once a month, and we have sleepovers once every break to catch up. I guess we're good at staying best friends despite "distances." |
