This topic will be for discussion and announcements regarding my Myspace Dreamweaver Extension Project.
So far, this extension includes:
This is going to be a slow project but hopefully it'll be that much better because i've taken my time on it. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I will update the Topic Description with the current date when I make updates to the extension so that you can redownload it with its new features. This extension is mostly only useful for people using DIV OVERLAY layouts because it is easier to preview in dreamweaver and you dont need myspace's code. I MAY figure out some way to tweak this for standard layout use. Screenshots: ![]() ![]() CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE EXTENSION You need Macromedia/Adobe Dreamweaver and Macromedia/Adobe Extension Manager to use this extension. |

if you're using a div overlay layout, that can happen sometimes, I believe because you're overlaying the accept changes button. actually, i thought myspace had fixed that recently...
there's a tutorial somewhere about how to submit the changes if you cant see the button. News on the Quick Layout Generator: It's still in development. Basically the extension will come with some premade commonly used layouts. They're just "skeletons" though. like: "1 Column: Banner, Nav, Content" and "2 Column" Layouts, etc. As for the extension not always making any changes to your dreamweaver code after you're finished filling in the info.. sometimes you have to make sure your cursor is in the right place for the code. Also, I havent figured out how to make it so the CSS will be added to your existing style sheet, or to just put it in the <head> tags, and dreamweaver sometimes wont display css if it isnt in between the <head> tags, so most of the time you'll have to copy/paste it up there. |
