I am new here so hello to everyone. I have really heavy periods. A friend of mine recommended the Always Maximum Protection with wings pads. Have any of you used those? I usually go through a super or overnight pad in about an hour or hour and a half. I dont like tampons so please dont suggest those as it wont be any help. :-) Any pad suggestions much appreciated. :-)

yea, theyre fine for me and i've soaked through a super plus tampon in 30 minutes, once. so our flow is probably about the same.
you'll probably end up leaking at night, though. i do, too. also, you may want to talk to your doctor about that problem. you have menorrhagia(excessive blood loss). usually, doctors put women on birth control to help that. QUOTE There are several causes for menorrhagia. It may be caused by endometriosis or by blockages in the pelvic area, such as fibroids, cysts, or tumors. Menorrhagia is often a result of imbalances in various organ systems of the body. There are two systems of the body that seem to have a direct influence on the amount of bleeding that occurs each month, the endocrine gland system (especially the thyroid) and the liver. By nourishing and strengthening the endocrine glands and the liver and by correcting the underlying causes, excess bleeding during menstruation can often be reduced to a comfortable flow.
