Hi.. i wasn't sure where to post this.. so i figured the lounge since a guy or girl might be able to help me out..
well.. to keep things short.. i bought a silk dress a couple days ago to wear for a special occation (tonight actually.. i have to be ready to go mid-late afternoon). However.. me being the messy person i am.. (please dont ask why.) was very careless and somehow the silk dress wound up crumpled on the floor.. with a damp towel on top of the bottom section of the dress. NOW. now only is the dress extremly wrinkly.. it seems to have places where it bunches up.. kinda like.. cooked leafy veggies. i got rid of about 80% of the wrinkles by turning my shower to the hottest setting and pressing it straight with my hands and hoping the steam would do some magic. It helped.. but the bunches are still there.. and some wrinkles just wont go away. i dont have a steamer or whatever thing people usually use to get rid of wrinkles in silk.. i do have a heating iron.. but i dont think that will do much good.. i think? any suggestions? it's pretty urgent.. as i need to fix this thing by this afternoon.... any suggestions would be helpful.. thanks. |
