I've noticed that my mom always sounds really nice when she picks up the phone, She has amazing phone manners.
I, personally, do not. I mean, when at school I have to say "It's a great day at sherrill's, how may I help you?". But at home, I just talk normal.  I mean... I am polite most of the time anyways, but I dont... try to be over-polite or go out of my way to be really really nice. 'Cause I normally am nice as it is.. So yeah. hahaDo you guys have good phone manners? or do you just act/talk normal? |

its usually
hello? or the cantonese way, "wai" or "wei" if i know it's a chinese thats calling. sometimes, if i can see the caller id, i'll just start the conversation with the person calling. when i'm calling someone's cell, i'll usually start the conversation. if i'm calling their home i'll ask "hi, can i talk to ___?" |
