I've noticed that my mom always sounds really nice when she picks up the phone, She has amazing phone manners.
I, personally, do not. I mean, when at school I have to say "It's a great day at sherrill's, how may I help you?". But at home, I just talk normal.  I mean... I am polite most of the time anyways, but I dont... try to be over-polite or go out of my way to be really really nice. 'Cause I normally am nice as it is.. So yeah. hahaDo you guys have good phone manners? or do you just act/talk normal? |

^ OMG YES! I haaate hate hate when people call/IM/etc and ask "Who is this?". Like uhm.. WTF? who are you?! dummmmyyy.
It is really ridiculous, I mean if you don't know who I am you could atleast say "Hey, this is so-and-so, I have your number and I'm not really sure why. Could you tell me who you are?" or something along those lines. I've gotten so many "Who are you/Who is this?" IMs.
