A slip - It's called a slip but it looks like a dress to me. I have heard that slips are lingerie and dresses are what you wear on the street, but I'm not sure.

Can you wear that slip as street wear? and could you clarify the difference between a slip and a dress.

Slips are usually very sheer, so wearing them on the street wouldn't be very intelligent. That particular one looks pretty thick, so I dunno.

The purpose for slips, is so your dress [or skirt] doesn't scratch you. Or, sometimes if a dress is a little see-through, a slip is used to hide your undergarments. =]

They could be easily related to a Cami.
