LOL I was really bored today so I seached for anything involving wifi battling & stumbled upon this:

Standard Wi-Fi Rules (Near helped with these, thanks.)
- Species Clause ONE Pokemon of any given number per team.
- No Ubers Ubers are Pokemon with MASSIVE stats. They are often deemed unfair.

Evade clause Moves like Double Team are banned, as they are REALLY annoying.
Sleep Clause You are only allowed to put one Opponent Pokemon to sleep (or freeze) at any given time. REST DOES NOT COUNT, if you use Rest, switch, and they put another of your Pokemon to sleep, you used Rest, not the problem of your opponent.
Self KO Clause Only 1 Pokemon may use a Suicide combo (such as Explosion or a combo with Perish song). Also if you cause a double KO with an above said move on the last Pokemon standing, YOU LOSE.
Generally banned Items Focus Band, Quick Claw, Brightpowder

Standard Nintendo Rules
- Species Clause ONE Pokemon of any given number per team.
- No Legendaries Using Pokemon that aren't one of a kind and unbreedable (sorta, utterly unique and impossible to duplicate in game without cheatery). This is generally less socially accepted than the No Ubers clause, I'm leaving it here as it also tells you what is a legendary. I'm not even sure Nintendo still uses it, but they have before at events I went to.

Item clause This is a hold over from Stadium and Stadium 2, 1 of any item per team.

No rules/clauses common to Double Battle yet (all the above are still applied), except that overkilling the Protect / Area moves combo is a bit cheese.
