Table switch sides code messing up... Options

ok i figured id try just using a gen to add my background and text color.. the basics.. then do all the extra effects myself... well i used the code on this site to switch my tables and it worked but it also shifted the whole page right so i have a big blank sopt on the left side of my page... which doesn't look good.. what is the problem? this is the code i used

That code looks right but maybe you put it in wrong... Post your whole code and maybe a link please
