I mean I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to this kinda stuff, but this has me completely stumped. My wireless router (WRT54G Linksys) randomly drops me from it's wireless connection like once an hour or every half hour. I at first thought it was excessive use on the router due to neighbors all using it, but then I passworded it and still have the same issues. I'll be on my merry way around CB and I'll go to hit post and it will then say connecting to linksys Signal: Weak. This doesn't d/c the computers wired into the router, however.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know what's wrong? |

if you have multiple PC running on one router, you should set up a STATIC IP address for all of em, as for the wireless router, you can always try re-insyalling back to the factory default, also try to use CH 6 that works best.

Channel 6 working best depends on where you are. If everyone is on channel 6, you'll get a lower signal to noise ratio. |
