So me and my girlfriend have been together for about 5 months, but have been liking each other for over a year and a half now. I've already gotten her a necklace and a bracelet for valentine's day and our 3 month anniversary, so I was thinking maybe i should get her a ring. I asked a couple of my friends about this, and a few of them thought that giving her a ring would be a little too serious of a present. She and I have talked about marriage, (not getting married, but what it would be like if we did, etc), just in normal conversations. Do you guys think that giving a ring as a birthday present might seem too serious?
Any opinions/advice would be appreciated. Girls, please chime in? btw. I already bought the ring...but i don't want her to think that im getting to serious about our relationship.. |

Naw, a ring would be awesome. But face it, if she's the kind of girl who doesn't wear alot of jewelry, then she's going to think the ring is extra special.
I dunno, seems to me that maybe you should be a little bit more creative :D And same here brownsugar, I think if I got a bracelet and a ring and all that jazz one after another I'd start to think, "Why is he giving me all these gifts that don't require any thought?" |
