So me and my girlfriend have been together for about 5 months, but have been liking each other for over a year and a half now. I've already gotten her a necklace and a bracelet for valentine's day and our 3 month anniversary, so I was thinking maybe i should get her a ring. I asked a couple of my friends about this, and a few of them thought that giving her a ring would be a little too serious of a present. She and I have talked about marriage, (not getting married, but what it would be like if we did, etc), just in normal conversations. Do you guys think that giving a ring as a birthday present might seem too serious?
Any opinions/advice would be appreciated. Girls, please chime in? btw. I already bought the ring...but i don't want her to think that im getting to serious about our relationship.. |

Yeah, I kind of thought about that too.
a few weeks ago, she was wearing a ring and we were holding hands..and I took it off of her finger playfully and put it in my pocket..so I kinda stole it from her (I told her I lost it) so I could use it to make sure I found the right size (I didn't want to get her a ring that was too small and make her feel fat, lol). anyways. I was thinking about putting it in a box and giving it back, and then surprising her with the one that i got her. good idea or no? |
