UGH, some of you I'm sorry to say know nothing about nutriition or working out, no offense
just to assure my credentials, I am a senior health and fitness major at Purdue University, and compete in the North American Strongman Society. I have twice qualified for strongman nationals. anyway, onto the topic 1) eating after 8pm wont make you fat. There isn't a set time to quit eating. The best thing to do is to limit carbs within 3 hours of bed. Immediately before bed however, especially if you workout, you WANT to eat a slow-digesting casein protein source and a few carbs to help deliver the protein. The best way to do this is cottage cheese, or milk, with a small bit of oatmeal. 2) doing hundreds of crunches every day will ONLY give you abs with endurance. Abs are a muscle just like any other and are to be worked the same. Work them in sets of 8-15 reps. When that gets too easy, find new ab exercises and add weight resistance. If you go over 15-20 reps, you are working ENDURANCE. Also, they need 72 hours between workouts just like any other muscle, so quit doing them every day. 3) LIFTING WEIGHTS AT A YOUNG AGE WILL NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT! STUNT YOUR GROWTH. feel free to ask any other questions. the attached pic is me locking out a 630lb Conan's Wheel in training earlier this year. My last contest was May 1 in Ohio and I finished 2nd in my class, and won the Conan's Wheel, beating everyone in every class except 1 person.
