So we are reading Lords of Discipline for my Contemporary American Lit class... I'm really not a big fan of the book. I like his style of writing, and I guess it is a good read... but I can easily put the book down. What do you guys think?
My teacher says that it always ends up being a class favorite and that every year it ends up being in the yearbook for favorite book. However... everyone in my class dislikes the book. Maybe it's just that my teacher is horrible and ruining the book for us? Not sure. |

I've heard of this book before. It used to be mandatory to be read at my school about three years ago when I was a freshman but they took it off of the mandatory reading list.
