i just got my bottom braces today. i've had my top ones for a while. my mouth is killing me. does anyone have any suggestions of medication to ease the pain?

I had braces twice. Once just the top and then the second time it was both top and bottom. with spacers and rubberbands.
it was harsh. the way my mouth stopped hurting is by first of all not talking. try not to move your mouth that much. only eat soft foods like yogurt and such to begin with. take ibuprofen and give it time. |
