I just recently got a camera and it kind of dropped. Now the lens is sticking out and it won't close. When I press the on/off button nothing happens except the light flashes and you can sort of see the screen go from black to a dark shade of gray. I'm not sure if my warranty/plan thing covers this but if it doesn't, do you know where/how I can get it fixed and about how much it'll be? I haven't exactly told my parents about it yet cause they'll flip out on me and the camera isn't even two months old yet. pinch.gif

if it doesnt close dont force it to close. um sand got into my camera making the lens not able to close back. i had to fix my camera at the place that sony told me to take it. it was expensive. but luckily it was less than a year so i got it fixed for free. but they were going to charge me 170.

also my other friend broke her camera cause her friend grabbed it and pushed the lens in.

so it would be hard to fix it or expensive.

um is your camera less than a year cause if it is it is most likely under manufacturer's warranty then you can get it fixed for free. but if not u should try going to a camera place where they do repairs. thats all the advice i have to give.
