I really suck at math. I just dont know why. I'm Asian ... and am i suppose to be good in math or what?
I got a C algebra 1 and geometry. I need some help to improve my math skills. How do i became good in math? How do i gained logic in math. What can i do to improve my math skills. Are they any ways to absorb math effectively? suggestion? anything? help! I want to prepared myself for my future career while i'm still an incoming junior. i desperately want to be well educated. |

Ignore the stereotypes, not all Asians are good at math and not all of them are bad at it either. Really, the only way to get good at math is to practice, practice, practice, in my opinion. When you get a homework assignment, make sure you can complete it thoroughly without any questions (ask your teacher or friends for help if you don't get a problem), then go into your textbook and find additional problems that are similar to those that you didn't quite get. Don't be lazy and skip doing extra problems; make sure you do them, (and do more challenging problems) until you gain a really, really solid foundation of the matter. This may take hours, but don't give up. After you feel super confident about it, and you get another homework assignment, repeat the process. Math isn't like a study the night before the test, subject, but it tests you on subjects that have built on and on and on. |
