Although, I wouldn't necessarily depend on the help from your OWN teacher. If you are unable to do well in the class, sometimes it is the teacher's fault. I mean, no matter how hard I tried to learn anything in Pre-Calculus back in high school, the way my teacher taught it NEVER made any sense to me! I ended up teaching myself, but I still did not do much better. It was really difficult for me.
I had some tutoring from a friend who sort of understood the material, and luckily I ended up getting a B+. Although, the majority of my class got A's because they CHEATED, whereas I attempted to actually learn the work. lol They got screwed over when they took Calculus. I do suggest getting tutored. I would NOT suggest doing practice books BY YOURSELF, as it's easier and more fast-paced if you have a one-on-one tutoring session with someone. Eh, my boyfriend's Asian, and he BOO ASIAN STEREOTYPES! |
