Sex Talk Options

My mom decieded to give me the "sex talk" today becuase last night she overheard me telling my frined (who sepent the night)that my ex wanted to have sex with me. It was HORRABLE. She kept saying all they want is your body, dont wear lowcut shirts it sometimes gives them the wrong idea, and that your rep. gets trashed. It was sooo awkward. I kept laughing. At one part my my mom started to cry, I felt so bad because she was trying to protect me.

Anyone else have some awkward experiences when their mom/dad gave them the "sex talk?"

lol... uh, my mom has never officially gaven me the 'talk' tho she has said: 'if you ever get pregnant, make sure you come to me. yea i wont be too happy with you but i will make sure you get help' yeah.... shes never said, DONT HAVE SEX EVA! its almost like she doesnt care..but i know she does, since i feel she would be dissapointed in me if she did find out i was having sex with my boyfriend (not that i am..)

Thats nice though that you at least can talk to her about it, she seems understanding.If I came in and was like mom I had sex she would probably slap me. I wish my mom didnt care.

I was in the fourth grade when my mom gave it to me. She even brought in an encyclopedia.

ok well i was 10 and my mom told me that
my dad was going to discuss "the birds and the bees"
with me that afternoon when he came home.

i was terrified. i locked myself
in my room and cried.

he gave me this stupid little book "you
and your changing body" and told me many
useless-to-aten-year-old facts.

my DAD. this was the day i stopped
being Daddy's Little Girl. It's been
awkward all 7 years since lol.

Wow..thats kinda awkward.

I have a question ive been wondering why do they call it the "birds and the bees?" I mean wtf what do birds and bees have to do with sex?
