Has racism ever had an effect on you?
Not just being called racist slurs, but actually being limited in some way because of race. Something like this happend to my parents a few years ago. I know my parents went to some foriegn store our of the U.S. (Rome I think it was) and stood in line to buy some things. When it was my parent's turn, the cashier ignored then but, continued serving people that were even behind my parents. My parents didn't get helped until my father complained. It was supposedly because my parents are Filipino. |

Thank goodness no. In general, the places I have lived were more open-minded communities than some other places, so encountering actual, full intent racism has been very rare for me. |
