Are there any books that you are forced to read (for example, school) and they just make you fall asleep? Or vice versa; have you read any books for class that were actually interesting?

I liked To Kill A Mockingbird and I thought Romeo and Juliet (both freshmen reads for me) was actually interesting. It wasn't the dead boring crap a lot of people made it out to be for me. Hmm... I didn't like Lord Of The Flies. I appreciated the strong symbolism and extra messages the author put in "behind the scenes", but I just... wasn't interested in the story. |
