So since I moved to Davis last year, I've noticed that I've started using a lot of slang terms that I never used to say to the point where old friends say that I 1) sound hella white-washed and 2) talk like a dude (sometimes) by the way I talk now. In fact, I hadn't even heard of some of these terms being used before I came to Davis because I apparently missed the memo (e.g. sketch [for sketchy], legit, the general dropping of any syllable after a sh sound [sesh, short for session, soc, short for sociology], and a plethora of terms for smoking/drinking/being inebriated/high).
So ummm what slang terms or just phrases in general have you recently picked up and been using? If the meaning's not apparent, please explain it to us. :) |

Anyways, y'all is big in texas. It's also fairly common here and im sure everywhere else to say thinkin instead of thinking. Basically taking the g off of almost anything lol. Blazed/baked for really high. Or when you take a big hit, you just took the stairway to heaven lol. |
