Some teens are just out there looking for fun and trying stuff out. Others, not so much. Some guys are just seeing what girls (or guys, if they're gay) are like and vice versa, while others are actually seriously looking for someone to commit to.

I'm 16, and even though I know everything's continually changing now and it's going to change even more in a couple years, I'm always looking for someone who's going to last a lifetime.

I'm just not into 'dating around' and hooking up unless I really think something deeper is coming out of it.

I'm looking for a guy that's not the 'typical' teenage guy. There's nothing that annoys me more than when all a guy talks about is hott girls and sports. I want to be able to have lots of fun, but still have deep discussions and intelligent conversations about interesting things. I want more than a boring red rose, or a box of chocolate on Christmas (thoughtful presents in other words). A guy that doesn't define hott as a bleached blonde, Hollister, obnoxious girl. I need a guy that I feel a connection with, someone that is more than technically compatible.

I don't need commitment necessarily, but someone that's willing to actually have a meaningful relationship (instead of just having one for the sake of it) would be nice.
