so me and my bf have been going out for 6 months, almost 7
he moved to san diego last saturday
and since he has left he has only called me once
it seems like we dont talk as much as we used to
i thought that long distance relationships were supposed to be all about communication and such
so when i tell him we dont talk as much, he says we do, because we still text
but i dont think that texting and talking on the phone is the same
when i get sad about him being gone and not talking to me, he gets mad.
i dont know if i should try and work this out and maybe tell him that he needs to put an effort out to call me and such, or just give up
and there is no reason why he should have troubles calling me, but he does

any advise on how to keep this relationship going?
or should i just call it quits?

In my opinion even having to ask if you should call it quits is a sure fire foreshadowing of a relationship destined to fail.

I don't think you should call it quits yet, he just made a move, which is a big event in someone's life, give him time to get settled he's stressed out with a lot right now, give him space, let him breathe, go visit him within the next 2 weeks, maybe stay the night and spend a weekend together, it will mean a lot to him, and will help him be more at ease knowing someone familiar to him still wants to make an effort to come and see him even though he lives farther away now.

Good luck, _smile.gif
