i just got my bottom braces today. i've had my top ones for a while. my mouth is killing me. does anyone have any suggestions of medication to ease the pain?

i've already taken like three or four asprins, and it's only gotten worse.
 i have olympic day tomorrow and i have three events. one of which involves jumping hurdles. so that shouls be fun to deal with. i'll try the hot tea. thanks.
