So i have a device that does not except wireless connection to the internet.(only wired ethernet) So in order to obtain wireless internet i need to buy a wireless router and a bridge to pick it up, the only problem is thats quite costly. Also a potentioly hard time setting up. So i did some research and found Power Over Ethernet(POE) and it seems as if its used to prevent fires and whatnot, but i read that it can transfer data as well. So what i was wondering is if i could plug one POE to my device through a cable and another to my PC could i obtain wirless internet? not at the same time as my pc no, but it seems like it would work and would save me loads of cash.

anyone know if this is possible? _unsure.gif

I don't really think that would work for you.
Honestly the router is the best choice for you in my opinion. You can get a wired router, and those are cheaper but you'd either have to run a wire through your walls or have it out in the open. You could also just get a wireless bridge, then buy a wireless card and stick that inside your computer. The wireless card is way cheaper than the bridge.
