Ok. Here's the deal. I asked this friend of mine to prom. He is a Sophomore and I'm a Junior. Alot of people told me that why go with him and all. I told them ,since I only thought of him as a friend at that time, that I wouldn't dance with him. I did of course. He wasn't the best "grinder" but he was a great slow dancer. I never ever felt that way slow dancing with someone before. I wanted it to last forever. I don't know. I regret not dancing with him more than I should. To the point, I fell for him. I don't know if he feels the same way. His family is Portuguese and my family is Filipino. Portuguese is stricked when it comes to dating and so is Filipinos.They would never approve me if i was his gf. I just can't stop think about him. In my dreams, riding in the car,and typing right now.
 I don't want to get hurt again by a guy. What should I do? |

Well, you never know. It could be just the lust of finally being with a guy you'd consider, y'know? Some guys don't consider grinding and slow dancing to be something as big as a 'crush' or whatever. Try and see how things are with him after prom. If things are still like what you felt during the slow dance, you may have a chance (: Family approval is hard to deal with, though. Are you sure they wouldn't accept you? Think about if causing tension between families is really worth it to you or not. |
