You think Kanye West does all his promotion work? You think he finances anything by himself? Sure, he makes millions of dollars, but white people make billions off your stupid idol. Of course we are an important and a intricate part of society ( as are all people). Black people pioneered Rock and Roll , Rap, Jazz, Country. Thats a big chunk of the music industry. Whatever your favorite artist may be, he would not be conceivable had someone not took black music and incorporated into their own music (Elvis).
