how do you get over someone when you fell in love with with them and about a week ago they told you they had a girl on the side the whole entire time and still has that same girlfriend now but still tells you that he loves you and your amazing and your beautiful and everything else even through your broken up?

&& also no one supports you in it. your mom thinks your a whore because your doing stuff with him. your brother and sister and friends tell you to not bother with him

Kind of sounds like my situation without the girl on the side.

My older brother told me to just completely cut the person out of your life and to make him nothing. Just don't talk to him at all, don't acknowledge him, and keep up with that until you 'forgot,' and to only start talking to him again when you could be around him and not have your heart act up anymore.

Which personally, I'm finding rather difficult because I don't want to make my ex "nothing."

Like you said, It is really difficult to make an ex nothing. Like i try telling him that i cant do this anymore and then he says or does something to make me keep talking to him but lately i haven't been calling him or texting him as much. He just has and ive been answering them.

I agree. It may be extremely hard and heart-wrenching but this guy has lied to you for so long. If he really "loves" you, why is he still with that girlfriend? Have you tried talking to him about it? If it's too hard to bring up, you can even write him a letter. It really does seem like a tough situation. If he doesn't treat you like he loves you, then maybe he isn't worth your time. Like I said before, try talking to him about it.I hope everything works out.

Yea i did talk to him about. He said hes not leaving her because he has already gave her his heart and soul. He knew her a lot longer than he knew me. He said the reason he didn't tell me at first was because he thought at first we were just bullshitting and then he developed strong feelings for me. He does treat me like he loves me but then again i don't know what he does with his girlfriend.

I had the same problem. I had the same exact boyfriend for five years...convinced me he was in love with me. Dont fall for this crap...get out while you can. Only time will heal that as corny and stupid as it sounds...its true. Been there and done that...just let go. Distance yourself and move on.

If you guys went out for like five years then you must of been in love. Maybe you guys just grew out of it. if you feel like it was crap then you just basically wasted five years.

Think why you broke up with him in the first place, everything wrong he did, how disgusted you were before, and how disgusted he could make you again.
