there's this guy named chris. he's one of my buddies and i've been [kindof] crushing on him on-and-off lately. some days, i really like him and others i don't. him and i got to talking to day and he asked me out. and i don't know if i really want to go out with him or not. i'm afraid i'll have regrets no matter what i do. help.

Well, You say your liking him on and off so that means you have some feelings for him. I would say go for it because if you don't and he asks someone else and then they say yes and then you realize you do like him then theres nothing you can do. Right now you have your chance to see if these are pretty strong feelings. Start slow, like going out to dinner or to a movie or inviting him over your house or his house. If you don't want be alone then find someone to double with. It better to double with someone who just starting a relationship like you might be vs someone who's in a long term relationship already. Theres really nothing to loose and then you can get out right away if you don't want be in it.
