okay
so i got the sims 2 and i played it for like a month or something but then for some reason everytime i wanted to play it, and i would load up and stuff it would freeze right when it got to the part where you pick which neighborhood to play in and i would have to shut down my computer. whats wrong?? |

I suspect that something you downloaded was corrupt. It is possible, though, that because the Sims 2 takes up so much space/power to run, that something weird is up with your computer. First, go download the latest patch for the Sims 2. Sims 2 Patch 1.0.0.971 Then try to run your game; does it work? If not, you've most likely downloaded something that's causing your game to crash. --> Download this: The Sims 2 Content Manager Tool. It'll let you see what you've added to your Sims game from downloading, and let you enable, disable or delete those objects. I recommend deleting everything and starting afresh; download stuff that's made from more 'credible' sites to avoid future problems like this. |
