how do you get over someone Options

how do you get over someone when you fell in love with with them and about a week ago they told you they had a girl on the side the whole entire time and still has that same girlfriend now but still tells you that he loves you and your amazing and your beautiful and everything else even through your broken up?

&& also no one supports you in it. your mom thinks your a whore because your doing stuff with him. your brother and sister and friends tell you to not bother with him

Kind of sounds like my situation without the girl on the side.

My older brother told me to just completely cut the person out of your life and to make him nothing. Just don't talk to him at all, don't acknowledge him, and keep up with that until you 'forgot,' and to only start talking to him again when you could be around him and not have your heart act up anymore.

Which personally, I'm finding rather difficult because I don't want to make my ex "nothing."

I agree. It may be extremely hard and heart-wrenching but this guy has lied to you for so long. If he really "loves" you, why is he still with that girlfriend? Have you tried talking to him about it? If it's too hard to bring up, you can even write him a letter. It really does seem like a tough situation. If he doesn't treat you like he loves you, then maybe he isn't worth your time. Like I said before, try talking to him about it.I hope everything works out.
