i'm half black and half white and am sick of dealing with ignorant people who think they understand everything there is to know about race issues. i actually had to drop a class because the open discussions on the subject were just too stressful.

i feel you completly!...
because im half white and half black i still fight to this day because of racist comments being called a oreo or a jungle fever baby.. people ask dumb questions like "if you lived in the slave days would your mom own your dad ;;and would you be a slave our a owner" i jus look at them in disgust!!! like how could you say such things!!! and then when you hear that n word it jus pisses me off!! when i was younger my teachers use to ask me if i was adopted seeing this white lady pick up a black child must look weird to some people i guess?? i go to a all white school where even the presidents of the black history club are asian or white!!?? dont get it!! the kids in my school have called me ghetto and shit like that it gets me madd i cant lie but at the end of the day i just think i have the best of both worlds!!! |
