i'm half black and half white and am sick of dealing with ignorant people who think they understand everything there is to know about race issues. i actually had to drop a class because the open discussions on the subject were just too stressful.

ugh I've always had this problem. What bothers me is I get more racial comments from people my own age who are black or white than anyone else and I don't get it. I was discriminated on by the blacks because "I acted white" and the same in reverse with whites and its like, hello? its a part of me, why would i suppress what is inside me. But the worst thing was parents of my friends. I wasn't allowed to date any of my white friends because their parents didnt want them dating a "black girl." I'm like okay so if we can't have outer race dating, who am I supposed to date? I'm half black, and half some bizzare mix of chinese italian and white. Am I supposed to be single and miserable until I find someone with the EXACT same genetic jumbalaya that I have? How unfair is that? What really gets me is I know white people who are actualy like, german, Irish and French, but their parents will let them date any kind of white person, british, south african, australian, what-the-hell-ever but they can't date me cuz I'm "brown" its just STUPID!!! Whats the damn difference? There isnt one.


And the n word is retarded. There are so many other things you can use to address your 'homies' than that word, and you wouldn't be offending people and giving into ignorance.
