I was in this Krogers yesterday and i was talkin to the cashier. she just graduated or whatever and we started talkin about Frisco bein boring as hell! Anyway, im about to leave and she tells me "You have the cutest Texas accent". I was like

I live in New York City, but I don't have the New Yorker accent.

Trust me you do. Just say coffee to someone not from new york and they'll look at you like you're crazy. Yeah, that's true. I'd probably sound different than someone who lived in the Midwest or South. What I meant was that I don't have the exaggerated "Noo Yawk" accent often portrayed in movies. |
