I'm not very happy with my body right now and am looking for a definite change. I'd like to lose a few pounds here and there. I'm going vegetarian with my dad and my parents are going on Weight Watchers, so I'll probably indirectly be a part of that. So I have the diet down, but I need to excercise more. I own a treadmill but I find it SO boring to run on, even while watching TV. I'd much prefer running outside but I'm embarassed to... I'm a good runner but I'm always paranoid I'll run into someone I know and they'll be like, "Good idea, you definitely need to work out." or something like that. Anybody have any solutions to my dilemma?

go to the gym.
running on the treadmill is a great exercise, and if you don't do it because you think it's boring, that just shows that you are not dedicated to losing weight. my dad started running a couple of months ago, and lost about 30+ pounds from it. try running for a long period of time at a faster speed. it builds your endurance and it challenges yourself. oh and, going vegetarian does not work! i know this man that has ate vegetarian for probably 30+ years, and he's still at least 250 pounds. and yeah, he used to be average sized before he went vegetarian. |
