Ok, so I'm not talking to a friend because it all started with her ignoring me when another girl, I'll call her Sally, would come over. They'd just go on talking and they wouldn't even look my way. It's only when Sally left that she actually acknowledged that I was there. I thought I was overeacting at first but then my other friend said the same thing was done to her.

So one day I get fed up with it and just completely stop talking to her. She didn't understand why so I told her and she said that she would try to stop. So I give her another chance. She does it 2-3 more times and on the last one I just stopped talking to her permanently. Except this time I think she sees it as it being my fault because she also got mad at me. Which, to me, makes no sense since she got closer and spends most her time with Sally once I was out of the way.

But the problem is she was my closest friend and really the only person I talked to about my problems.

So what I'm trying to say is, should I forgive her again and just be content with being ignored or should I stand by what I did and continue not being her friend? Now that I think about it she hasn't been that great and I really know I should find a better best friend but I'm not exactly the type to go up to some random person and start a conversation.

option one: keep puting up with the same old shit

option two: confront her

option three (my fav): lower yourself to her level

i just though of this. maybe you're talking at the wrong times or she doesn't know how to respond to what you're saying. whenever i get ignored i realize i said something a lil weird, at least by the standards of who i was talking to. otherwise they're busy thinking or texting or something.
