I never get on createBlog, but I felt that I just had to let it out.
This isn't asking for help because help cannot be given. As of 1920 CST today, Myspace has blocked the "position:" attribute. Maybe there is a fancy way of getting around it, but a lot of layouts I've seen use it. I've already mailed Myspace about this, and I believe that it is about people who have used the absolute value to cover up their ads. (I'd like to mention that according to a news source, they make at least $25 million a month on ads alone) I want to know how you guys feel about this. If Myspace does not bring it back, or offer us an alternative, designs will be limited. |

^ You're not! I'm sure you've tried and you're a way better coder so I'm not going to tell you how to do what, but the plus of Livejournal is that there are a buttload of dedicated communities which are really helpful; I know Myspace has some but, the Livejournal ones are just more accessible, integrated and useful.
If you get a paid account, you can pretty much completely re-write your LJ from scratch. It's not as straight forward as Myspace, as I've said before, but at LJ, you really get the support you need. Hence probably why the Myspace forums here are so much more used than the Livejournal forums. |
