Five dollars I know at least two people who'll catch the title.
Are you afraid of getting older? Not just afraid of change itself, but of just growing. Of getting those wrinkles, of gaining life experience, of realizing that "Shit, a year already?" |

The thing about getting old, is the fear of the unknown. Also changes. In this day and age alot can change in 5 years or less. So in 40 years time soo much would of changed. Can you adapt and cope with such changes? I think these are the main questions people ask themselves when they think of getting old.

Apparently, one of the most popular solutions to the aging adaptation problem seems to involve becoming viciously bitter, playing domino, developing absurd everyday routines and pretending to be deaf to annoy the hell out of people. |

Apparently, one of the most popular solutions to the aging adaptation problem seems to involve becoming viciously bitter, playing domino, developing absurd everyday routines and pretending to be deaf to annoy the hell out of people. That explains why most elderly people i've met are bitter, sad and moody. But then you get the occasional few who accept it all. If I grow old (Pray that I don't) then I won't ever be bitter unless something truly traumatic happens to me but besides that, nope. Like someone else said, i'll grow old on the outside but still be young at heart. |
