I have this old box (kind of like a jewlery box) that was my grandfathers from before he came to America. His great-grandfather had it; it has a map of Germany (which is, of course, it's accurate to how it currently is. I hold it very, very dear to me.
I also have a carebear from when I was a little girl that I could probably never part with. It sits on a shelf in my room
