Reincarnation is the stupidest theory but as much as I hate to admit it, it is entirely plausible. Einstein's theory of energy held the idea that energy is eternal and can never be depleted, merely changed. So the idea that the energy of one life can be shifted to inhabit a new life is plausible. But the idea of Kharma and being either rewarded or punished for the acts of your past life is bullshit. It is possible that our energy can carry some form of memory, so we may remember things from a past life. But your beliefs and/or actions have nothing to do with it. And anyone who will decide to critique this idea(and I know you're all just itching behind the surface) can shut the f**k up. I see reincarnation and karma as a single package. Putting the two together helps the two concepts make more sense.Cool, you saw the similarity between the concept of reincarnation and the Law of Conservation of Energy and Matter. Karma's not that unfamiliar of a concept either. Refer to Newton's third law. "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." If you would have rather I not have said anything at all, feel free to disregard everything I just said. We all have our beliefs, I myself hold the belief that there is no higher power. This is not arrogance or ignorance talking, you have no idea how much I would love to have unquestioning blind faith in a God that will answer my prayers and guide me through life because I can say without a doubt that I am utterly lost. The problem is that my rational mind would never allow this. It's not fair to me, I want to have faith. But wanting and truly believing are two very different things. I know this about myself, there is nothing in life that can ever make me believe in a higher power because there is always an explanation, even for the things we have not yet discovered. In 500 years, I believe we will have undenying evidence that show how humans came to be, how the universe was formed, all the secrets of life we have yet to discover. It just takes time. 500 years ago, we all thought the world was flat, that Earth was the center of the Solar system, and no one questioned the notion of God and his divine plan. But we've learned better, haven't we. Understandable. There have been quite a few people that has already said that. That was never meant to be a "prove that there is a God" topic. And that discussion is over here, not in this thread. ![]() ![]() |

If you would have rather I not have said anything at all, feel free to disregard everything I just said. haha. You didnt disagree or critique, so don't worry about it. I meant that for the people who always disagree just so that they can disagree. I hate those people. If you are gonna disagree with someone, at least have a reason or make some type of sense. Don't just disagree because you don't like what they're saying. haha |
