So fox25 news came to my school, and other local schools to check on school security, and we failed. We have construction going on around our school, so people will usually think they are a contractor or something, so this undercover man had a hidden camera filming teachers not noticing or approaching this undercover man. My teacher just casually wakled by, and at shcool today, he was saying all these lies like 'I jumped them right when they passed me" Funyn stuff, now our school has increased the secuirty level, they hired a full time security guard and have everyone have identification and all that. We were on TV with other schools.

In Spain, our High School are quite a lot more laid back on security terms. I don't recall seeing the doors closed other than during weekends and holidays, and the school's library was used as a public library too so pretty much everybody would be allowed in.
The only unusual violent episode I witnessed during my time in there happened when followers of two soccer teams engaged in a fight in the parking lot. Other than that, we only had minor thefts of school owned material, as well as the usual minor fisticuffs between students. Nothing worthy of such a security display, in any case. |
