Now if I were a new member trying to get my posts up just to get special privileges with CB's xanga/myspace crap, I'd understand the idea on spam.
But now me, being a member of CB since...practically it was first created, you'd think I wouldn't really care to spam. Someone's got a vendetta. QUOTE I believe you are fully aware of the forum rules, and because I want to keep everything consistent and correct, I have to raise your warning level because you spammed here:

I'll agree that you posting a smiley in that thread really wasn't that big of a deal, at least not enough to merit a warning, but I can understand if I read her documentation which points out that you were repeatedly calling her (and James) names.
This brings up a new point, and it's something that hasn't been discussed yet, so nobody's in trouble, but what should be done if a mod is warning a member for being rude to them? Personally, if someone calls me a name I'll bring it up with someone else before issuing a warning because I don't want it to seem like I'm doing it out of spite or to get revenge. I'd call on someone in a higher position (or equal, if you're head/admin) to take care of it for me - they'll do it in a way that's not biased and let me know if I did anything wrong. That's off-topic, but it's just a thought. I'm not sure if that's the actual reason for your warning level being raised, but I don't think your post in that thread was the only thing contributing to it. Again, forgive me if I seem out of the loop here, I'm not positive I fully understand what's happened. Hopefully Diana or the person who sent the PM (if it wasn't her) can come clear this up. |
