grr..Stupid Date, why my prom sucked |

alright guys.. a few days ago i went to this really expensive prom with my prom date.. first of all she wanted me to go with her and even told my sis to ask me if i was interested in going with her.. so i did.. and at first we hugged, talked, took pictures, and ate dinner while chatting about stuff, normal stuff like that, then when we got to the dance floor, she decided to completely ignore me and dance with her female friends.
now i didn't mind, i thought "oh well i'll dance with her later" so i just kept dancing near her and whatever. so then this slowish song came up and she said she wouldnt dance with me for some stupid reason (i put up bunny ears on her during a picture her friend took on her digicam) and i knew she was joking but still... joke or not that was pretty much our only opportunity to semi-slow-dance, so it was stupid of her, and she still teasingly adamantly refused to dance with me then. and she just went on thru the night, dancing with other GIRLS (no other guys.. shes not lesbo though) and without telling me just walking off with her friends for whatever reason. i wasnt clingy, and a few times i just decided to walk off myself and talk to some of my friends. then at this one moment, while she was dancing with one of her female friends, me and one of my friends were talking and my friend decides to dance with her friend, so my date finally decided to dance with me (prolly only cuz it was awkward to just stand around watching them dance). and i told her (jokingly) "hah.. finally" and she said "what? i danced with you before.." and i thought to myself "uhh no you haven't..." so basically i gave up and just sorta ignored her for the rest of the night. i seriously thought she'd be interested in having a good time with me (even as friends) that night but now i just think that she used me as a prom date just for the sake of having a prom date. wtf. do i have a right to be mad at her? or am i just exploding over something insignificant? |
